Original letter from employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Brazil. It is extremely important that the business letter includes the statement that "no technical work or assistance" will be provided during stay in Brazil. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in host country. For applicants within Miami and Atlanta jurisdictions: Business letter must be notarized.

The Embassy of Brazil issues Temp II visas to Crew members. Temp II visas are usually valid for up to 5 years (in San Francisco visas are issued for up to 2 years) and allow a maximum stay of 90 days per entry to Brazil. The visa validity however will always be at the discretion of the Brazilian Consulate. |

Miami - Visas are processed in 18 to 20 business days. Rush processing is up to 17 business days.
