Brazilian Transit Travel Requirements for US Citizens:

If traveler intends to pass through immigration, a visa is required. A visa is not required to transit through Brazil as long as the traveler remains in the international transit area, without passing through immigration control. Traveler must be in possession of a valid passport and onward ticket.
Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page available for stamp(s).
Proof Of Departure:
Confirmed onward airline ticket.
Yellow fever vaccination certificate if applicant has traveled within the last 90 days to endemic area.
Valid onward destination visas (if applicable).
If traveler intends to pass through immigration, a visa may be required. Please confirm with your travel agent or airline to determine if the itinerary is for direct airside transit.
